1st Pets for 2Rs

30Sep06 is Granny's death anniversary and also Gerald's birthday.
Also, its 1st pets for 2Rs ...... some guppies to go for.

My Turn Liao .......

Aiyah, it my turn to kanna plaster finger after my previous post on my 2R. Kanna sliced while cutting up the pork. Lost quite a bit of blood, but i think its good rite ........ so new blood can form mah heeheeheeheehee.

KK Hospital AGAIN!

His fever hit 40.7 celcius ...... oh my goodness ....... rush to KK and .......
- fed him Nurofen Syrup (to bring down temperature)
- sponge him (to bring it down further)
- X-ray him (to confirm no lung infection)
- blood test (just in case blood count is no good).

Such a brave boy, did not even complain a bit nor cry :)

SSO @ Botanical Garden

We had a good time with the kids @ Singapore Botanical Garden on 30July06 Sunday. We were joined by Aunty Lily and Qile. There were many great events held beside the usual SSO performance. The evening ended beautifully with special performance by Jeremy Monteiro and Jacintha.

MUAR Durian Trip 5 Aug 06

Wow, its been a month since last update .... hehehehe
Just return from Muar durian eating trip, fantastic durian and free rambutans from the wild. Total of 16 cars packed the NS Highway for this quest for the King of Fruits.

KK Hospital Part II

This round is Regina's ...... she had fever since tuesday. On Friday 8pm, it subsided, but juz this evening it shot up to 40 degree celcius!!!!! Rushed to KK, along the way deposited Bro.R at mama's. KK's doc. suspected dengue as we had returned from Bintan last week. Did the unusual blood test (refer to picture - she cried, so poor thing on the little "tallman" finger) and the usual administration of paracetamol. Fever came down to 37.1 after an hour, thereafter the blood test report showed no signs of dengue, just some viral infection ......... discharged, pick up Bro.R and reach home at 12mid-nite. All are tired and Praise God for His healing hands and Grace.

Fire Station Visit

Picnic @ East Coast

Found a wonderful spot at East Coast for picnic at carpark F2 (After Lagoon Food Centre) next to bbq pit no. 66. The best time is around 5pm-7pm, don't picnic under the trees, do it under open sky, it's better that way ......... look at the rainbow which comes as a bonus from heaven. Thank God!

Club Med Ria Bintan 19-22Jun06

We just return from our 4D/3N Club Med vacation. It has been a relaxing trip as we only eat-sleep-play eat-sleep-playeat-sleep-playeat-sleep-playeat-sleep-playeat-sleep-playeat-sleep-playeat-sleep-play ...... heeheehee. + free flow of Beer and Wine ... woolala.
Got the June's "family festival" package @ $665 x 2 adults + $108 for 3.5yrs old + $78 for <2yrs old.

KK Hospital

It was an uneventful Saturday as Rod has fallen sick with a high fever of 39.5 celcius that didn't subside. So decided to bring him down to KK @ 5pm. Upon reaching there, wow ...... so many others kids were seen having the fever patch on their forehead. Hmmmm, it seems that it is common among children around this period. Doctor diagnosed as "upper respiratory tract infection", its inflammation of the throat which causes high fever and cough. It is a viral infection in short. The doctor administered the fever solution on-the-spot. Shortly after 10mins, he's back to his "OLD NAUGHTY" self .. haizzzzzzzz. After that, prescribed plenty of medications for him, including his first dose of antibiotics :( - due to the extreme reddish throat. We finished off our day by having dinner at KK's Kopitiam. Thank God he's well.
